What is electrolyte ice?

Electrolyte ice is flavored ice made with essential electrolytes — designed to be eaten, not sipped. FROSTLYTE™ is building the soft version of it.

A hydration format, not a flavor gimmick

Most hydration products ask you to drink something. Electrolyte ice asks you to eat something cold. The nutrition idea is the same — water plus essential electrolytes like sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium — but the format changes completely.

Traditional freezer pops are mostly sugar water frozen into a hard tube. Electrolyte ice starts from a hydration formula first, then engineers the freeze. FROSTLYTE goes one step further with a soft, spoonable texture instead of a solid block you have to bite.

That format difference matters in the real world. When it's 98°F, when you're nauseous, when you're recovering, or when a kid refuses a bottle, a cold spoonful is often easier to get down than another warm drink.

How it compares

Electrolyte ice vs. everything else

Drink

Sports drinks

Fast and familiar, but often sugar-heavy, room temperature by hour two, and still just another liquid.

Powder

Electrolyte powders

Strong electrolyte loads, but require water, a bottle, mixing and cleanup.

Frozen

Freezer pops

Cold and craveable, mostly sugar, minimal electrolytes, and rock-hard out of the freezer.

Frozen

FROSTLYTE soft electrolyte ice

Flavor-forward soft ice built around 1,100+ mg of key electrolytes, 15 calories and zero added sugar.

Where it fits

Why people want a frozen format

  • Heat, outdoor work and long shifts where a warm bottle stops working
  • Sick days when sipping is hard but ice chips are tolerable
  • Recovery mornings after a hard workout or a long night
  • Kids who treat a cup of ice like dessert instead of a chore
  • Travel days, sidelines and anywhere a cold spoonful beats a drink

Electrolyte ice FAQ

Is electrolyte ice the same as a freezer pop?
No. Freezer pops are typically sugar-forward and freeze hard. FROSTLYTE is formulated as a hydration product first, with a soft, spoonable frozen texture and zero added sugar.
Does freezing hurt the electrolytes?
Minerals like sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium are stable when frozen. The formulation work goes into texture and flavor, not preserving the minerals.
Is it a medical product?
No. FROSTLYTE is a food product. It is not a medicine and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
